We do our best to inform students of any changes to venues/dates via our noticeboard, as well as announcements at classes themselves. However sometimes changes outwith our control can happen at the last minute. Students are advised to check the website (which is kept up to date with information) particularly if they have missed classes for any reason.

Fiddlers can attend most classes (the exceptions are the Beginners and Slow & Steady Classes) but should be aware that the Harder classes will move at a fast pace.

If you have missed sessions and do not know tunes you will still be learning if you can listen to the tunes and the teaching. Don’t feel that you have to know every tune.

A Few Changes to Draw your Attention to

In our relentless pursuit of excellence we have decided to implement a few changes this term

• Intermediate/Advanced Classes are now combined into an 11.15– 12.30 p.m. class (note start time)

• Jimmy’s fast blast class is from 10.30 to 11.15 a.m.

• The 9.30 classes will run for 50 minutes and tutors (especially Sheila) will try to start on time

• Tunes taught in the 9.30 a.m. and 11.15 a.m. classes will, whenever possible, be listed on the diary page. A recording will also be placed on the Teaching Page.

This is a trial and will rely on Karen finding time to record tunes on her MP3 player and Ian having time to update the web with them.

• The Younger Players are playing on the 30th May. It is hoped that we can get a good turn out for this.

Busking

Dates will be posted in Midlem Hall on Sundays so look out for it.
